Edgar Medina was honored when presented with the opportunity to create a total of six individual pieces for Houston’s newest Westin property located in the Medical Center. This historic building was a true midcentury masterpiece, and could not have matched more perfectly with Edgar’s personal interior design style.

Pearl Hospitality was the developer of this world-class renovation. Opening in early 2020, this original midcentury office building opened in early 2020 and is now a premier hotel welcoming guests into the world-renowned Medical Center. One fantastic feature of the hotel is the collection of local art. In addition to Edgar’s six commissions, the hotel features 15+ local Houston artists.
